High-Grade Family boss, Samini has made Ghana proud as he grabs Reggaeville Album Of The Year Award with his 7th studio project dubbed #Untamed. 

Samini after winning the award becomes the first African artiste to win such an award.

“Untamed”, the 22-tracked album placed 1st ahead of other key albums by Stephen Marley, Protoje, Kabaka Pyramid, Mr. Vegas, Agent Sasco, Jesse Royal, Alborosie, Ziggy Marley, Spice just to name a few.

The 'Obra' hitmaker beat artiste like Protoje, Kabaka Pyramid, Mellow Mood, and Alborosie to win the album of the year award.

Samini has released seven albums since 2004, he won Best African Act at the MOBO Awards 2006 and the MTV Africa Music Award as Best Performer 2009.

Samini released “UNTAMED” on Saturday, December 22, 2018, a strictly Reggae collection.
