Ghanaian social media influencer and TikTok star, Asantewaa, born Martina Dwamena, has disclosed that she believes it's only older women who need to dress and cover up their bodies.
According to Asantewaa, she’s young and needs to show off for her husband.
The TikTok star in an interview with Delay maintained that the weather in Ghana is not favourable for her -- it’s too hot -- so she dresses to feel comfortable.
“I don’t get it when people talk about my dressing, because I know there’s no particular dressing for a married woman. I have received a lot of attacking comments from netizens. I am a young lady, Ghana is very hot and I like to feel comfortable, not to please anyone. I dress sexy for my husband. He likes it,” she said.

Asantewaa also added that her husband has no problem with the way she dresses so she’s not changing it anytime soon.
She further said she feels the need to secure her place with her husband, who is a bit older, so he does not start looking elsewhere.
Asantewaa is a Ghanaian actress, social media influencer, brand ambassador, a trained nurse by profession.
She is in no doubt one of the most sought-after TikTok stars in Ghana.
She has won the hearts of many people including Nigerians with her unique acting style.
