Venue for Ebony’s funeral changed, date postponed

The venue and date already made known to the general public for the funeral rites and burial service of Ghanaian dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, has been changed.

Initially the date was March 17, 2018 whereas the venue was given as Independence, but the family of the Dancehall Diva has disclosed that the burial will be at the forecourt of the State House, Accra and also the initial date as March 17, 2018, set for the burial has been also changed to March 24, 2018

The official date for the burial of Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng known on stage as Ebony is expected to come on as planned.

Ebony Reigns, and two others, Francisca Nkansah and Lance Corporal Francis Atsu Vondee died in a gory accident on February 8 at Nyame Bekyere near Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region.

She was reportedly returning from Sunyani to Accra after a visit to her mother who had returned to Ghana from Abroad when she was involved in the ghastly car accident Friday dawn.

She was rushed to the Bechem Government Hospital but passed on.
