Malian afro-pop singer-songwriter Salif Keita also known as the "Golden Voice of Africa" ended his 50-year music career with a spectacular performance at the just ended Stanbic Jazz Festival at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.

The 70-year-old Keita announced his retirement from performing after the release of the 26th album titled 'Another White', which is a cry for the protection of people with albinism, especially since the UN has declared June 13, International Albinism Awareness Day.

However, news about Salif Keita’s participation in this year’s jazz festival was welcomed with much excitement and nostalgia by enthusiasts and people with love for African music.

This year’s Stanbic Jazz Festival saw electrifying performances from Salif Keita, Richard Bona, and the UB 40 band.
