Wanlov the Kubolor names daughter after Ebony

Musician Wanlov the Kubolor has named his newborn baby girl after late dancehall songstress Ebony Reigns.

The musician in a post on social media to the late songstress, whose birthday was yesterday February 16, said he is hopeful his daughter, Ebony Akosua Mansa, grows to radiate the level of strength the late songstress had while she was alive.

In a way to mark Ebony Reigns birthday, her managers and record label Rufftown Records released a latest single titled ‘Kokonsa Police’ which has since been making waves on radio.

 

Ghanaian dancehall artist-Ebony Reigns died during the early hours of Friday, February 9, on her way to Accra–after visiting her mother in the Brong Ahafo Region.

She died together with Franky Kuri, her alleged lesbian partner–and a military man who was with her in a car accident.

Friend of Dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns, Franky Kuri is set to be buried on Saturday, March 3, 2018.

Born Francisca Maame Yaa Teboa Nkansah, Franky died in the accident that claimed the lives of Afro-Dancehall musician Ebony Reigns and Lance Corporal Vondee Atsu Francis on Thursday, February 8 at Nyame Bekyere near Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region.

Franky's family made the revelation in an interview on Kofi TV.

Before her shocking death, Franky resided in Clarksville Tennessee in the US.

A US-based reporter, Valentine, who went to the house of Franky said her father, Elder Nkansah, and other family members are preparing to come to Ghana for the funeral.
