After escaping detention on varied occasions, Wisa Greid’s luck seems to be faltering with a placement of a fine on his head.
The ‘Ekikime’ hitmaker was present in court on Wednesday when an Accra Circuit Court ordered that he pay a security deposit of GH₵5000 and henceforth make himself available for the court.
Mrs. Abena Oppong Adjin presiding over the court declared that the fee be entered into the state treasury should the hiplife artiste fail to appear in court. Prosecutor, Judith Asante, however, sought for Wisa to be remanded in police custody for being elusive and disregarding the mighty authority of the court.
Lawyer, Jerry Avebogbor, prayed the court to revoke the bench warrant placed on his client’s head.
The case has been adjourned to August 12, 2016.

Wisa was charged with indecent exposure after allegedly stripping during a live performance at Citi FM’s 2015 edition of ‘Decemba to Rememba’ and rubbing his manhood behind a female dancer on stage.
