Prolific Ghanaian Hiplife Artist, Yaa Pono, popularly known as 'Ponobiom' has described Rapper Sarkodie as King.Â
In an Instagram post to wish SarkCess Music boss Happy Birthday, he tagged Sarkodie as King Sark.
Sarkodie has touted himself as King of Rap in GH.
This triggered a fierce song battle between him and another talented rapper in GH, Manifest. But some school of thought sees Ponobiom as a great contender when it comes to rap in GH.
In 2014, Sarkodie and Yaapono released a song together for the first time "Talk Of GH" which featured BBNZ's Lil Shaker who produced the song. The song was indeed the "Talk Of GH" on who was the best rapper, but the Tema based rappers Sarkodie and Yaapono did a great job on the beat.
But does this mean that Ponobiom has thrown in the towel for Sark as the King of Rap in GH?
Time will tell.
