The Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority say they have confiscated 200 slabs of items supported to be Indian hemp.

The Mobile Preventive Unit of the Authority in the Aflao Sector Command narrated, a truck was signaled to stop for inspection but sped away leading to a hot chase.

Eventually the driver managed to ditch the vehicle at Aflao Low Cost area without being apprehended. The unit regretted the activity of residents who attempted to prevent officers from packing the slabs to aid in investigation warning such obstructive acts attract penalties including incarceration.
