The Leader and Founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor has filed a suit at the Supreme Court seeking to order the Attorney-General to advise President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to step down to allow fair investigations into the 'Number 12' corruption video.

According to the Kumasi-based farmer and politician, after she watched the investigative piece by Anas Aremeyaw Anas, it was obvious that, President Akufo-Addo and his Vice, Dr. Bawumia, were highly involved in the issues put across by the former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi.

She further stated that for the investigations being conducted to be fair and unbiased, there is the need for both the President and the Vice President to step down from their post "before the truth is revealed since their names were mentioned in the said corruption video".

Madam Akua Donkor is also of the view that corruption is at its highest peak in the country and alleged that top political leaders, including the President and his vice are part, hence, Kwesi Nyantakyi making the comment that "they will take over the country".

She is, therefore, praying the court to compel or order the Attorney-General to advise President Akufo-Addo and his Vice President Dr. Bawumia to step down from their seats to allow fair investigations to be conducted.
