The Ministry of the Interior has warned applicants to ignore fraudulent messages claiming to offer access to medical screening for ongoing security service recruitment, insisting that no official SMS notifications have yet been sent.

In a public notice, the ministry said all legitimate SMS notifications will be issued only between March 29 and March 31, 2026, ahead of the start of medical screening on Tuesday, April 7, at designated centres nationwide.

Applicants have been cautioned not to make any payments to individuals or mobile money numbers, as scammers attempt to exploit the process.

The ministry stressed that all official messages will come exclusively from the authorised sender ID, CSERP.

It also advised applicants to verify their status on the recruitment portal before taking any action. Those selected for the next stage will see their status change from “Qualified” to “Medical Screening” once official messages are dispatched.

Payments, the ministry added, must be made only through the secure checkout system on the applicant portal. No applicant is required to send money directly to any person.

The ministry urged vigilance and encouraged applicants to report suspected fraud through its official email channel.
