Hon. Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko has died

The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon in the Greater Accra region, Hon. Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko, has died at the age of 60.

The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon in the Greater Accra region, Hon. Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko, has died at the age of 60.

According to close Family sources, the late MP died on Wednesday after a short illness for which he had undergone medical care in the United States of America.

Mr Agyarko, born on December 10, 1957, hailed from Krobo Odumase in the Eastern Region and was the brother of the former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko.  

Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko was a pharmacist, a medical doctor and a politician and had been a Member of Parliament since 2012. 

He was also a former Chief Executive of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).

The Late MP is survived by a wife and seven children.
