First West African Airshow comes off at Kotoka International Airport

The First Aerospace and Aviation Exhibition for West Africa will take place at the Kotoka International Airport from October 24 – 26, 2017.

The event is under the auspices of the Ministry of Aviation and the distinguished patronage of the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

A statement issued in Accra by Mrs Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the Minister of Aviation, said the event would bring together major players within the African and Global Aviation Space.

It said the event was put together with the view towards positioning the African Aviation Industry at the forefront of regional and global interests.

It will also provide an opportunity for manufacturers and service providers in the sector to explore and meet potential customers.

The highlights of the event include a Conference and Exhibition on October 24, 2017, official launch by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on October 25, and visit by students from selected Senior High Schools to the exhibition on October 26.

The statement said the Conference Session would feature industry VIP’s with representation from Airports Council International, International Civil Aviation Organization, International Air Transport Association, Africa Civil Aviation Commission and Africa Airlines Association.

Currently, 126 Exhibitors and 300 African and International attendees have confirmed participation.
