Foreign Affairs Ministry seeks family of Ghanaian found dead in Berlin

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is appealing for information on the relatives of a Ghanaian national whose lifeless body was found in an apartment in Berlin, Germany.

The deceased, Stephen Kofi Boamah, was born on February 8, 1986, in Kumasi and was reportedly known within the Ghanaian community in Berlin by the nickname “Gully.”

In a public announcement dated September 11, 2026, the Ministry urged anyone with information about Mr Boamah or his relatives in Ghana to come forward and assist in locating his family.

According to the Ministry, the information will help it notify the deceased’s relatives and facilitate the necessary arrangements concerning his remains.
