Some students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, will today June 17, 2019, join their colleagues from other tertiary institutions to begin a 10-day educational tour programme in Kenya and Dubai.

A total number of 51 students, made up of students from the University of Professional Studies ( UPSA), Wisconsin University College, Islamic University among other universities, will begin by touring some relevant tour sites in Kenya, before participating in a lecture at the University of Dubai.

The tour is put together by EduConcepts International in partnership with the Private University Student's Association of Ghana with support from the student representative council of these tertiary institutions.

Corporate Affairs Director for EduConcepts International Samson Afordofe said the purpose of the tour is to promote multicultural socialisation and further provide Ghanaian students with a feel of learning outside the shores of Ghana.

"The intent is mainly to provide students with the opportunity of exploring the numerous tourist sites in these two countries as they learn and interact with other students."
