The Cape Coast High Court today granted an interim injunction filed by lawyer of the some suspended Students of University of Cape Coast.

The 22 students were indicted by the school for their involvement in some clashes between Atlantic (ATL) and Oguaa Halls during a hall week celebration at the school months ago.

The court presided over by His Lordship Justice William Boampong instructed the university to allow the 22 students to fully participate in the ongoing 2016/2017 academic year exams.

The University of Cape Coast rusticated some 22 students, most of whom are hall executives of ATL for their involvement in the clashes that led to one student reportedly being paralyzed and other properties of the school vandalized.

The 22 rusticated student made up of 17 males and five females; nine each in their third and final years, two in their second and first years respectively, were to serve academic bans ranging from a period of two to four semesters.

The Alumni of the Atlantic Hall dragged the management of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) to court over its decision to suspend 22 students of the hall.
