Former President Jerry John Rawlings is 69 years today.
Mr Rawlings, the first president of Ghana's fourth republic, was born in Accra, Gold Coast, on 22 June 1947, to Victoria Agbotui and James Ramsey John, a chemist from the United Kingdom.
