Body builder and a former winner of 'Ghana's Strongest Man' contest, Sanni Mohammed, is in the grips of the police for pummeling two priests he claimed offended him.

24-year-old Mohammed is said to have become incensed when he claimed Father Awuah Boateng who was travelling in his Toyota Corolla, on Sunday from Bimso Number One headed for Mankranso hit his motor bike on the road without stopping, so chased him, detained him and started dishing hefty blows on the catholic priest.

Mohammed is said to have also destroyed the tail light and side mirror of the priest’s vehicle.

Another priest, Rev Father Affum, the Parish Priest of Adugyama Roman Catholic Church who fearing that his colleague might be killed, prayed the muscled man to release the victim but that plea infuriated the champ who rather reportedly stabbed him with a knife.

Mohammed has since been arrested and transferred to the Regional Police Headquarters in Kumasi set to be processed for court.
