A 25-year-old mother of one has hanged herself at Battorkordzi, a suburb of Kpong in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region.

The deceased, Mawupemor Kisseh is reported to have hanged herself with a rope in her rented room last Saturday.
According to the Akuse Divisional Commander of the Ghana Police Service, Mr Francis Ackaah, around 12 noon on Saturday, the police had information that someone had committed suicide by hanging at Battorkordzi.Â
He said the police rushed to the crime scene and took the body to the Akuse Government Hospital.
He said the police took statements from some of the tenants and relatives of the deceased as part of their investigations.
The deceased's mother, Comfort Kisseh, according to Graphic Online  highly suspects  Mawupemor's former boyfriend, Kamal Abdulai, who also resides at Kpong, of having a hand in the daughter's becuase the two had a problem prior to the suicide.
