Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has announced that President John Dramani Mahama will begin a nationwide engagement tour, dubbed the “Resetting Ghana” initiative, from March 18.

The President is expected to lead ministers and Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) to interact directly with citizens, traditional leaders, and key stakeholders across the country.

“The objective is to engage the people, listen to their concerns, and keep them informed about what government is doing,” he said.

The tour will commence in the Bono Region, with subsequent visits planned across other regions.

He said this on Tuesday, March 17 when the Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane paid a working visit to his office at the presidency.

The Spokesperson of government communication further added that the tour forms part of broader efforts by the Mahama administration to enhance transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in governance.
