The National Service Authority (NSA) has given prospective National Service Personnel affected by biodata mismatches a final opportunity to resolve their issues and complete their registration.
In a press release dated August 24, 2026, the NSA directed affected students who have been unable to rectify their biodata discrepancies to report to its headquarters before the deadline of Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The Authority said it is collaborating with the National Identification Authority (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company and Commissioners for Oaths to assist affected students with the necessary processes to regularise their records.
Students who have not yet obtained the required affidavit will be assisted by Commissioners for Oaths to prepare and swear the documents needed to support corrections to their biodata.
Those who require Gazette publication will also be guided through the process by the Ghana Publishing Company.
The NSA further urged students who have already obtained their affidavits and/or Gazette publications but whose records have not yet been corrected to report to the Authority’s headquarters with the original documents and other relevant supporting documents.
According to the Authority, once the necessary corrections have been made and the students’ records aligned, they will be able to proceed with the National Service registration process.
Affected students have been advised to bring all relevant original documents, including their Ghana Card and, where applicable, their affidavit and Gazette publication.
The NSA stressed that the intervention represents the final opportunity for affected students to regularise their records and complete their registration before the August 26 deadline.
The Authority has therefore urged all students still facing biodata mismatch issues to act promptly and take advantage of the assistance being provided.
