The National Service Authority (NSA) has released Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for 6,867 trained nurses and midwives ahead of their mandatory national service for the 2026/2027 service year.

In a statement issued on Monday, January 19, 2026, the Authority announced that eligible personnel can access their PIN codes via the official NSA website (https://gnsa.gov.gh/) using their student ID numbers and date of birth.

This marks the beginning of the enrollment process for newly qualified nurses and midwives across the country.

As part of the registration requirements, applicants must pay a fee of GH¢41 via MTN Mobile Money to complete their enrollment. Registration opened immediately following the announcement and is scheduled to close on January 23, 2026.

The NSA urged all eligible individuals to complete the process within the stipulated time to avoid being left out of this year’s deployment.

The statement also reminded the public that under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), national service is compulsory for all Ghanaian citizens aged 18 and above who have completed accredited tertiary education, including Nursing Training Colleges.
