Petrol, LPG prices to remain stable- NPA

Prices of Petrol and Liquefied Petroleum Gas are expected to remain stable at pump stations across the country.

Confirming the assertion, the National Petroleum Authority in a press release revealed that petrol and LPG will have stable prices at pumps across the country, effective January 1st, 2018.
The statement added, "This is in line with drop in crude and petroleum prices at the world market, as well as stability in the Exchange Rate."

The Authority further stated that it has activated the Price Stabilization and Recovery Levy to ensure potential upward adjustment in the price of diesel.

The National Petroleum Authority announces to the general public stability in prices of LPG and Petrol at the pumps, effective January 1, 2018.

This is in line with drop in crude and petroleum prices at the world market, as well as stability in the Exchange Rate.

The Authority has equally activated the Price Stabilization and Recovery Levy to stem potential upward adjustment in the price of diesel.

The NPA wishes to assure the public of its commitment to monitor the situation in order to ensure the full benefit of the reduction is felt.
