The Kumasi City Mall is currently shut down as parts of the roof caved in.
The incident happened today December 11, 2018 when the mall had not been opened.
Reports say there were no casualties recorded and workers are currently on the grounds clearing the dirt.
The National Disaster Management Organisation coordinator (NADMO) has been at the scene and say the situation is currently under control.
The mall will be opened once the dirt is cleared.
