Rev. Dr. David Nyimanyi Nabegmado the late pastor of Tema Community 4 Assemblies of God Church who was murdered by his nephew was buried today.
The man of God who was murdered was finally laid to rest amidst wailing and sorrow by several friends and family members.
The body was laid in state for public viewing on Friday night and a funeral service subsequently held on Saturday at the church.
The 64-year-old was stabbed to death on December 30, 2018, in his office at the church premises while preparing to deliver a sermon that day.
The suspect named Francis Nabegmado, 31, who is his nephew was reported to have attacked him with a knife and stabbed him in the right rib before slitting his throat.
The suspect was arrested by passersby when he attempted to escape after the dastardly act.
