National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbeaer aspirant, George Kweku Ricketts-Hagan, has embarked on cleanup exercise in the Central Regional capital, Cape Coast today.

The cleanup exercise forms part of his preparation to pay a courtesy call on the chiefs and people of Cape Coast and the Region to inform them of his decision to to lead the NDC for the 2929 elections.

Mr. Riketts-Hagan will seek the blessings of the chiefs and people in the Region since that is the home Region.

The former Central Regional Minister was accompanied by several NDC executives, supporters and residents in Cape Coast.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Cape Coast South is contesting the flagbearership of the NDC alongside ten other people, which include the former President Mahama.

 Hundreds of residents trooped to the various parts of Cape Coast to support the former Deputy Trades and Industry Minister to clean the city of filth.
