Police arrest one suspect in connection with murder of Dr Christopher Adu Boahen

The police have arrested one suspect in connection with the murder of Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen, the son of the late Ghanaian celebrated historian, Professor Albert Adu Boahen.

In a press release on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, the police identified the suspect as Mark Forson.

The police said in a statement that they received a complaint from relatives of the deceased on March 17, 2024, that he had been found dead in his room under suspicious circumstances.

Immediately, a team of investigators and crime scene experts visited the scenes and commenced investigations, leading to the arrest of the suspect.

“The suspect is in custody and will be put before the court while the investigation continues,” the police statement added.
