The Asokwa Divisional Police Command has ordered the Afia Serwaa Kobi Nurses Training School to provide a head count of students in the school to ascertain the number involved in an accident on the lake Bosomtwi road over the weekend.

Acting divisional police commander, Superintendent James Anor said a rescue team is finding it difficult to know whether or not some students are still trapped in the valley in which the excursion bus landed two days after the accident.

Over 40 students of Afia Serwaa Kobi Nurses Training School were involved in accident after an excursion at lake Bosomtwe on Monday June 3. The bus carrying the students vied off the road and somersaulted into a valley 150meters deep. Four students have been confirmed dead and over 20 students are receiving treatment at various medical facilities close to the accident scene.

According to Superintendent Anor more sophisticated machines will needed to be able to bring the bus out of the valley.
