The Northern Regional Police Command has commenced investigations into the death of two females whose bodies were found in a room at Cab Hospitality Hotel in Tamale.
The Police said the incident was reported by the hotel management on Monday, August 3, 2026, after the bodies of the two females, believed to be Benin nationals, were found.
“The bodies were subsequently conveyed to the Tamale Teaching Hospital Mortuary for preservation and a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of passing,” the Police stated.
The Inspector-General of Police has deployed a special team of investigators, intelligence officers and crime scene officers from the Police Headquarters to assist the Northern Regional Command with the probe.
The Police are appealing to the public for credible information that may help with the investigation.
“Members of the public with credible information on the incident are encouraged to call the Police Emergency Numbers, 191/18555, or report to the nearest Police Station,” the Command said.
