The Ambassador of Qatar, H.E. Khalid Bin Jabor Al-Mesallam paid a courtesy call on Ghana’s Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, at his office in Accra.
The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral relations and explore areas of cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Minister Muntaka thanked the Ambassador for the visit and highlighted the Ministry’s efforts in maintaining Ghana’s border security. The Hon. Minister discussed potential support for the Ghana Prisons Service, focusing on industrial hub development.
Alhaji Muntaka emphasized the importance of working together to benefit both countries.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to fostering stronger ties between Ghana and Qatar.
Also, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Dr. Abdulla Al Mandoos, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister at his office in Accra on Wednesday.
The Ambassador congratulated the Minister on his appointment and expressed his desire to explore potential areas of collaboration that would benefit both countries.
During the meeting,Muntaka warmly welcomed the Ambassador and appreciated the gesture. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and partnership, stating that no country can achieve success alone.
The Minister assured the Ambassador of Ghana’s government commitment to ensuring peace and stability in the country.
The Minister also called for increased investment and collaboration in various sectors to drive development and benefit the people of Ghana. He assured the Ambassador that his doors are open for meaningful partnerships that would promote mutual growth and understanding.
