The grand finale of the National Science and Maths Quiz will take centerstage at the National Theatre on Thursday with St. Thomas Aquinas, Adisadel College and Prempeh College cruising to the last stage of the competition.

The last semi-final competition which was held on Monday, saw St. Thomas Aquinas putting up a splendid performance to book a place in the grand finale.

They beat Presbyterian Secondary School(Presec, Legon) and Kumasi High School to secure the slot with other competition favourites Adisadel and Prempeh.

Aquinas finished with 52 points while Presec followed with 39 points. Kumasi High School settled for the third position with 28 points.

The Cantonment-based school qualified with one of the highest points in this year's competition.

Both Aquinas and Adisadel have won the competition once, while Prempeh has won three times and looking forward to their fourth. The competition which began few months ago would end on Thursday with a grueling  finale.

It promises to be exciting as the last three schools(all boys schools) look forward to clinching the bragging rights as the best as far as the National Science and Maths Quiz is concerned.

It would also be a battle between Greater Accra(Aquinas), Prempeh College(Ashanti region) and Adisadel( Central region).
