The Auditor General, Daniel Demelovo has disclosed that Martin Amidu cannot be effective due to the circumstances he finds himself in.
According to him, Martin Amidu has been put in office with no investigator and just one secretary.
Speaking at the third memorial lecture of former finance Minister Kwadwo Baah Wiredu, the auditor general urged Ghanaians to visit the office of the Special prosecutor and make a judgment by themselves if he is in a position to deliver on his mandate.

“I want to invite all of you to visit him but I won’t tell you why. Go and visit him and you would see whether you can be effective with only one secretary with no investigator and prosecutor, nothing,†he said.
