Two more 2 Delta Force suspects arrested over Tafo chaos

Two members of the vigilante group, Delta Force, who disrupted a meeting involving the Member of Parliament for Old Tafo-Pankrono Constituency and some New Patriotic Party (NPP) members, have been arrested.

The two, Mohammed Rabiu and Salki, were arrested on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at their hideout in the Constituency.

They were part of Delta Force members who disrupted a meeting convened by the Minister of Monitoring and Evaluation Dr Anthony Akoto Osei with some NPP constituency executives

The arrest brings to four the number of people arrested in connection with the disruption of the meeting.

The Kumasi Circuit Court, presided over by Ms Lydia Osei-Marfo, on Wednesday, October 10, remanded two members of the Delta Force, a vigilante group affiliated to the NPP, into prison custody over the disruptions.

The two will reappear before the court on October 24, 2018.

The suspects, Paul Attah Onyina, 49, and Richard Yaw Breck, 51, were charged with conspiracy to commit a crime, causing unlawful damage and rioting.
