Vice-President Ammisah-Arthur's convoy involved in accident

The convoy of Vice-President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has been involved in an accident at Gomoa Adams, near Nsakyire Junction on the Winneba-Cape Coast highway.

The accident occurred when a saloon car rammed into a 4 X 4 SUV vehicle that drives behind Mr Amissah-Arthur's vehicle the convoy.

The impact of the crash caused the SUV to somersault several times and land upside down in a bush, according to a report by 3news.com.

Four people were injured in the accident, but the vice-president escaped unhurt.

He was reportedly heading to Dominase for the 20th-anniversary celebration of Nana Kwebu Ewusia when the accident occurred.
