Police in Bole have arrested a woman who allegedly dumped a seven-day-old baby boy of her rival into a toilet pit at Bole in the Northern region.

The suspect, identified as Mma Mariama, and the mother of the deceased, Mma Ajato, are both married to one Iddirisu.
According to starrfmonline, Mariama sneaked into the house of Ajato, who was then enjoying a Telenovela series at about 7pm Saturday, while the boy, who was only outdoored on Saturday, was lying outdoors.
The woman reportedly picked the baby without the knowledge of the mother and dumped him into a pit of the public toilet at the market square.
Residents who suspected Mariama confronted her and upon interrogation admitted to the crime and has since been handed over to the police.

The police are still interrogating her to establish the motive behind her action. However, Starr News has gathered the woman has recently been complaining about total neglect by her husband.
According to the elder brother of their husband, the suspect had reported to him that her husband had been denying her sex for some time now and blames it on her rival whose baby was outdoored Saturday.
