The Ghana Drunkards Association is embarking on a bar tour to educate and caution their members on safe drinking during the Christmas.


The association will tour 1,256 drinking spots, pubs and blue kiosk in the Greater Accra, Ashanti and the Volta region to educate their members.

In a statement signed by the President Moses Onyah aka Dry Bone, the will help curb the alarming rate of members who suffer hangover and alcohol-related accidents as a result of excessive drinking and the abuse of alcohol by members.

PRESS STATEMENT

As part of measures to ensure responsible drinking ahead of Christmas and new year celebration, the president of the Drunkards Association Moses Dry Bone with his cabinet shall embark on a bar tour to educate members on safe drinking during and after the Xmas season.

This tour will help curb the alarming rate of members who suffer hangover and alcohol-related accidents as a result of excessive drinking and the abuse of alcohol by members.

The president will be touring 1,256 drinking spots, pubs and blue kiosk in the Greater Accra, Ashanti and the Volta region of GHANA.

We are therefore calling on manufacturers to produce quality beverages for safe human consumption and to also reduce prices of their product to enable us to enjoy this season with happiness.
