JAS Foundation organizes breast cancer screening exercise in Weija-Gbawe constituency

The JAS foundation in partnership with Naa Yaaniede II, Queen Mother of Gbawe Kwatei Family and Naa Amakuma Otuobom II, Queen Mother of Weija organized a free breast cancer screening exercise in Gbawe and Weija Traditional areas all in the Weija- Gbawe Constituency on the 21st and 22nd October 2023 respectively.

The exercise which centered on creating awareness on Breast Cancer which currently presents as a global health issue and the leading health challenge amongst women provided an avenue to screen, educate and sensitize people on the disease.

Lawyer Jerry Ahmed Shaib, the Executive Director of the JAS Foundation, mentioned how passionate he was about the health of the people and how poised he was in joining hands to fight breast cancer.

The Queen mothers who both took active part in the exercise expressed their sincerest gratitude to the foundation for organizing such an event during this critical times where health issues particularly breast cancer was a major global concern.

In all the exercise welcomed women of all ages who benefited greatly and appreciated the initiative of the JAS Foundation in caring for the people.
