Akufo-Addo swears in Blay, 7 others as Ambassadors

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has sworn in his first batch of ambassadors to head various Ghanaian embassies abroad. 

They eight includes: Gina Blay, Ghana’s Ambassador to Germany; Papa Owusu Ankomah, Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom; Dr. Adjei Barwuah, Ghana’s Ambassador to the United States of America;  and Anna Bossman, Ghana’s Ambassador to France.

The rest are: Frederick Daniel Laryea, Ghana’s Ambassador to Cote d’Ivoire,  Stephen Mahamudu Yakubu, Ghana’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco,  Alhaji Rashid Bawa, Ghana’s High Commissioner to Nigeria and Edward Boateng, Ghana’s Ambassador to China.

Presenting them with their letters of credence at the Flagstaff House on Friday, President Akufo-Addo congratulated them "warmly on their well-deserved appointment".
