The Commission probing the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election violence will resume sitting today Monday, February 18, 2019.

The Commander of the Police SWAT team is expected to appear before the Commission today.

He is a person of interest in this investigation because the masked men who stormed Bawaleshie were in a Police SWAT vehicle.

The IGP has denied knowledge of the vehicle and the Commander of the SWAT team will be the best person to explain how these men got the vehicle.

Last week, key individuals including the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensah; Minister of State in charge of National Security, Byran Acheampong, East Legon District Police Commander; National Security Minister, Kan Dapaah; Minister of Interior, Ambrose Dery, DSP George Lysander Asare among other police officers.
