Running Mate on the NPP ticket, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has found the National Democratic Congress (NDC) guilty on charges of reckless use of public funds and engaging in corrupt deeds for benefit of selves, family and friends.

The ‘Economic Whiz-kid’, addressing thousands of New Patriotic Party (NPP) faithfuls at the Trade Fair Centre noted that “even with GH₵20 billion, the NPP led by President Kufuor birthed the NHIS, School Feeding Programme, Metro Mass Transport, Free Maternal Care and ensured payment of Teacher and Nursing Trainees Allowances but the NDC with GH₵248 billion has collapsed Kufuor’s interventionist programmes.”

He pointed out that to reverse an earlier decision not to pay teacher and nursing trainees allowances is a political gimmick by the NDC to avoid defeat at the polls but the peeved trainees now know better.

Dr. Bawumia, pledged a Nana Addo- Bawumia partnership will revive the economy with job options for industrious persons while marking out rural areas for swift development.

He reiterated the desire to donate $1m to every constituency to purse their development goals making sure the funds are captured in the 2017 budget.
