President Nana Akufo-Addo says Ghana will witness interesting times ahead in his administration.
The fifth President of the fourth republic said he would do so by serving the public interest with courage.
Speaking during the swearing in ceremony in Accra,he said,the rule of law will be the underlining factor and the law will be applicable to all.
"There will be discipline in all sectors of our lives, not just some. Our public service will be accorded the discipline and dignity it deserves to attract young and bright people it needs".
"Our nation will work when the marginalized and venerable are catered for and treated with respect.Our elderly people will be recognized for their roles in building Ghana and assured of care in the crucial times of their lives," he stressed.
He added that the country must work to protect the water bodies,forest and lands by learning to accept that "we do not own the lands but hold in trust for generations to come."
Everyone he said,therefore have the responsibility to protect it and all it contains.
