When primenewghana’s Edward Kumsah visited the site to gauge the situation on the ground, Queiroz Galvao Ghanaian employees were busy fixing ground tiles, lighting systems and generally tidying up the place before the first gentleman arrived.

What’s commendable at the Nkrumah mini park is the disability friendly entrances as is the fountain and lighting fixture which transform the place at night.

Curios people had already ventured to behold the new structures with photographers making brisk business by taking shots of participants who were keen to say they were part of the memorable event.

Rather bizarrely is the commotion which nearly broke out when copies of the Ovation International Magazine which did a special feature on the president cum National Democratic Candidate was brought out to be offered some media men and a few other people present.

Free things are very appreciated by Ghanaians but the swiftness and determination to land a copy by the eager folks eventually compelled the distributor to leave the magazines to get some fresh air while the determined folks swarmed on the mags taking their copies.

Young, elderly, women and men all battled to have a copy. Primenewsghana shall update readers when the president finally lands at the GH₵320.2m Nkrumah Interchange in a few hours to open the network road to traffic.
