Lawyer and presidential nominee of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Ivor Kobina Greenstreet says Ghana under his presidency will invest in wind energy wherever applicable in the country.

On day one of his Eastern Regional tour at Asuogyaman Constituency, Mr. Greenstreet chastised both the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and New Patriotic Party (NPP) for failing to significantly add to the country’s energy mix.

Welcomed by exuberant motor riders at Kpong and shepherded to the event grounds to a thunderous reception from men, women youth and party loyalists, the CPP leader reminded all that if successive governments had implemented some of the pragmatic proposals of the Nkrumah government, the country would have been advanced greatly.

With congregants eagerly pushing and shoving for the CPP shirts, the man who stunned Samia to emerge party presidential nominee rendered, from Northern Ghana to Ada, the Volta Lake stretches but has been poorly managed hence the ‘dumsor’ consequence adding there is enough mountain range to vigorously pursue wind energy as an integral part of our energy mx.

“I shall build 9,900 wind turbines capable of generating 9000 megawatts of power to shore our energy supply,” Mr. Greenstreet further pledged.
