The flagbearer of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, has accused President John Mahama of lying to Ghanaians about his achievements.

In an interview on Accra-based Class FM, Nana Konadu she had not witnessed the infrastructural developments she said the president was boasting about.

“I don’t see what the president is talking about because he is lying to us and we won’t accept it," she said.

The NDP flagbearer said corruption and mismanagement had become the hallmark of the Mahama administration and that many Ghanaians were suffering for it.

Giving an example, Nana Konadu accused the administration of building a school that can accommodate 5000 people in Derma when the population in the community is not more than 300 people.

"Is that what you want your monies to be used for?” she quizzed.

The former first lady went on to add that she would lead the NDP to victory in the December elections.

“You go to some countries, there are, say, two or three parties that have entrenched themselves; then suddenly one comes and sees everybody off and they become the government,” she said.
