Presidential Candidate of the Progressive People's Party (PPP), Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom has accused President John Mahama and his ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) of engaging in "daylight robbery" in order to win the December 7 polls.

His accusation stems from the fact that President Mahama and the NDC is using state resources to share gifts to electorates making it an unfair playing ground for all political parties competing for votes

Speaking on Citi FM's Breakfast Show on Thursday, Dr Nduom said, "our taxpayers’ money being used by John Dramani Mahama and the NDC to campaign; buying things to give to people and so and so forth" adding that, with "such blatant use of state resources, you can’t have free and fair elections".

According to him, the lack of enforcement of the political parties law from  the Electoral Commission (EC) for the unfairness.

“Another one is that the political parties’ law is not being implemented or enforced by the Electoral Commission. Where do people get monies from to campaign? It [the law] is not being used", he lamented.

He, however, urged Ghanaians to collect goodies given them by other political parties but still go ahead and vote for the PPP to turn around the fortunes of the country.
