The Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Andy Appiah Kubi has denied rumours that he was behind the death of a New Patriotic Party (NPP) Polling Station Executives at Asante Akim North Constituency, Kwabena Amaning, who fell off the bucket of the party’s pick-up vehicle on their way from Domeabra to Agogo.
But a statement signed by the Personal Assistant to the MP for Asante Akim North Constituency, Derrick Amoah and copied to PrimeNewsGhana on September 20, 2018, said “I wish to state that, as someone who is a product of Christianity, I will never contemplate such an evil thought, let alone perpetuate itâ€.
