The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has denied reports that President John Dramani Mahama has given the founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, two Pajero vehicles and a house.

Akua Donkor in an interview published on Adomonline.com claimed that the President gave her two cars and a three bedroom house.

The female politician said she was given two Mitsubishi Pajeros by the President after Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom took his Tundra vehicle from her.

The house, she said was located at Sakumono in Accra.

Her claim has however been denied by a deputy communication director of the NDC, Kwaku Boahen.

“It is never true that President Mahama has given Akua Donkor any car or a building…,” he said.

According to Kwaku Boahen, Akua Donkor has the potential of purchasing a vehicle for herself and building a house.

The NDC deputy communication director stated that the GFP founder has cocoa farms and employs the services of an accountant who is a master’s degree holder, adding that he wouldn’t be shocked if Akua Donkor buys a car and puts up a house.

He thus insisted that there was no way President Mahama would give her vehicles and a house for no job done.

“The NDC is not known for sharing items to its supporters, as a social democratic party, we would rather invest the monies in areas that would benefit everywhere…,” he said according to Adomonline.com.
