The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) wing in Ashaiman is claiming rivals, National Democratic Congress (NDC) are hatching a plot to rig the December 7 polls.

Former Assembly Member and defeated NPP parliamentary aspirant, Thomas Adongo further stated the NDC only wins elections when they rig it declaring the party has not won any clean election till date.

He let it be known that vote riggers who were party members in the past have defected to the NPP and have revealed how they conducted their vile deeds.

“They are now in the camp of the NPP and have shown us how to counter the NDC’s moves and when the real votes are counted, the will of the people in choosing the NPP shall be clear,” he declared.

The NDC’s Ashaiman Constituency Organiser, Mr. James Vjay Agbogedenu countered the assertions stating the NPP were sour losers who love to make unfounded allegations.

“Our candidate (Ernest Norgbey) is strong on the ground and visiting the constituents selling his message to them while the feedback has been immense,” he made known.

He stated the NDC beats the NPP in the constituency and they shall be beaten once again.
