Supporters of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) have pitched camp at the residence of Nana Akufo- Addo ready to hit the streets in celebration of their victory.
The flagbearer announced that they have won the 2016 elections but waiting on the Electoral Commission(EC) to officially declare them as winners.
But impatient supporters have since trooped to the residence of the Flag bearer in party colours and practically spent the night at the entrance of his house.
The chairperson of the EC, Mrs. Charlotte Osei asked that they should be given time to collate all the results before announcing the winner.
However, following provisional results coming in, the NPP has taken a commanding lead of over 53% and are on their way to the Flagstaff House.
