The suspended National Youth Organizer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Ernesto Yeboah, has described his party’s flagbearer, Kobina Ivor Greenstreet, as a person  who condones corruption and hence does not qualify to lead Ghana.

According to the Ernesto Yeboah, it is becoming difficult to advertise Mr. Kobina Ivor Greenstreet to the electorates adding that “I have no doubt that he is rejected already”.

Mr. Greenstreet had stated that before anyone could label President John Mahama as corrupt regarding the gift saga, empirical evidence had to be provided.

However, in a rebuttal on Onua FM,  the embattled Youth Organizer, said he is not moved  by the statement made by his party's flagbearer concerning the CHRAJ report saying “how can someone who is campaigning to become leader of this country not know that this Ford saga is a clear case of breach of the gift law? Can that person be taken seriously, how can that person say he is not corrupt?”

He also stated categorically that some of the current leaders of the CPP including the flagbearer are working in the interest of the NPP and NDC instead of the CPP. He also affirmed that “I did not join the CPP to do the bidding of NPP or NDC".
