Kwesi Pratt Jnr., Editor-in-Chief of the Insight Newspaper has urged Ghanaian politicians to focus on adding to their knowledge rather than looking at amassing wealth.

He said they should rather concentrate on enriching their ”brains instead of their pockets.

Mr. Pratt Jnr. speaking at an event in Accra to mark the 110th Birthday of Ghana’s First President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, organized by the Socialists Forum said ”empty” heads cannot be fulfilling politicians.

Mr. Pratt, who is also Convener of the Forum noted that the only way to become a good politician is for them to know their society, understand the conditions of life of its people, learn the history, and master the ability to translate the knowledge into organizational skills to help build the country, and that is what Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah represents.
